Open clusters, or galactic clusters, are groupings of up to thousands of stars that are loosely gravitationally bound, and were formed from the same molecular cloud.  They are usually younger stars, and in some cases, the molecular cloud from which they were formed is still visible.

The images presented here are dominated by the open cluster itself, though many of images classified as “nebula” on this site also contain an associated open cluster.
